Donna RhodenizerandAndy Duinker are the world-class, international performing duo, Donna & Andy. Their musical excellence has been recognized with a Juno nomination and multiple ECMA awards.
Donna & Andy have performed for over 600,000 audience members at schools, festivals and stages throughout Canada and overseas, entertaining children and families with an interactive musical performance using fiddle, accordion, keyboard, guitar and even a Newfoundland Ugly stick. Their signature vocals, instrumental diversity, comedy, and lots of audience participation guarantee an enjoyable performance for all.
Donna & Andy made their international performing debut as Artists in Residence at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong for four weeks in April-May 2014. Their residency included performances for the students, daily classes with the students, presenting their own original music and music of the East Coast, preparing a concert presentation for the school’s Arts Festival and workshops for teachers.

Donna & Andy CDs are included as part of printed Song Collections and Teacher's Resources for use in elementary school music programs. The songs on all Donna & Andy CDs are presented in two versions:
full performance tracks as well as instrumental tracks. The instrumental tracks are a great
asset to school concerts and assemblies. At home, children can use the instrumental tracks
to sing their favourite songs for admiring family and friends.
Children are delighted with the songs, and teachers embrace the original song material and
educational resources that provide a top-quality music experience for their students.
Donna Rhodenizer’s educational music resources are used in schools throughout North
America as well as Trinidad & Tobago, Hong Kong, England, Ireland, Sierra Leone and Australia. The Nova Scotia Department of Education has endorsed the quality of Donna & Andy’s
original music and learning resources by including them on their Approved Learning Resources
list, as well as purchasing two of the song collections for every elementary school in Nova Scotia.
In addition to songs for elementary-aged children, Donna has composed over 40 individual songs available for use with choirs of all ages and a variety of voicings. These songs are available in traditional printed choral octavos as well as single-song downloads with reproduction rights (Registered Reproducible Masters).
French resources: Donna & Andy's song collection entitled "It's Christmas Time /C’est Noël" is available with printed and recorded French lyrics. A full French songbook and CD of Donna's songs entitled "La vie pour moi" was released in 2011. Songs in French (or English/French mix) are also available as single-song downloads with reproduction rights (Registered Reproducible Masters).
Donna has been recognized for her outstanding compositions and educational resources, receiving four nominations for Music Nova Scotia's Educator of the Year. Donna also was acknowledged for her outstanding contribution to music education in Canada, receiving the 2009 Nova Scotia Music Educator's Association Musica Viva Award, as well as the Canadian Music Educators Association Jubilate Award of Merit in 2011.
